Outback Ball

The annual Outback Ball was held in the hangar of the Royal Flying Doctor Service in Port Augusta.Everyone glammed up and I was asked to take photos for SALife magazine social pages.

There are a few more social events like this on the photographic calendar.

Mothers Day 2012

Mothers Day this year was a delight! Tamsin visited us for 2 weeks with the lovely Polly and Carly and Claire visited regularly as well. There was lots of baby bonding and comparisons over progress. Both babes are pulling themselves up onto furniture or whichever legs happen to be close by. Smiles and claps are the go and favourite songs can be sung over and over.Words such as  Dadad , Nan, Mou and Ma_ are emerging but lots more practice is needed before they get Mum right

My First Wedding

Although I have taken photos at weddings and collated albums of my own daughters' weddings I have never actually been the "Wedding Photographer" until now. Thanks to Lora, Brent and Yvonne for having faith in my abilities.

The day was HOT and WINDY... not ideal, but as usual when faced with interesting conditions I thought about ways to make the most of the situation ... avoid harsh light and shade situations if possible and make the most of the amazing clouds, the great car, the elegant wedding party and their sense of fun.

These are a few of my favourites...

Pastels at Melrose

Following the success of the Exhibition during the "Crush Festival" I have been asked to exhibit at The North Star Hotel in Melrose during March, followed by the Austral Hotel in April.

The bright pastels look super on the stone and galvanized walls. Funny how they seem to shrink in size when brought into a large space.
